WHAT SIZE DO I ORDER?
Each order comes with 24 pieces of nails. Various sizes are included and are suitable for most nails.
Each nail has a number on the back that matches both hands. All nails have small numbers on the back. Before starting, pick the right nails for each one of your fingers.
HOW LONG WILL MY NAILS LAST?
The determining factors for long lasting nails are the following: Nail prep, choice of glue and your daily habits. The key to longer wear time is avoiding long term exposure to water and manual labor.
DOUBLE SIDED GEL TABS/ Adhesives can last for a few hours up to a few days and are perfect for temporary wear and special occasions.
REGULAR NAIL GLUE can last up to 2 weeks or longer if applied correctly!
Make sure to follow our nail prep instructions on this website on the FAQ page. In addition, although optional you can purchase our prep set to ensure your nails stay on longer.
You can also try using both adhesive tabs and nail glue together. Follow nail prep instructions and apply the nail tabs. Then apply nail glue over the tabs or on the back of the nail. Press and hold the nails in place for a few seconds. This dual adhesive combo allows longer wear time.
ARE THE PRESS ON NAILS REUSABLE?
WHEN USING DOUBLE SIDED GEL TAB ADHESIVES, nails can be reused unlimited times. Simply clean off the used adhesive tabs from the backside of the nails.
WHEN USING GLUE,
You can purchase the prep kit provided by IMPRESSED NAILS and utilize the wooden nail remover to properly remove your nails. With proper care, you can wear and reuse multiple times
NOT REUSABLE if you choose to soak them off with acetone.
HOW DO I APPLY MY NAILS?
Use glue or double sided gel stick pads. Use both for extra hold.
1.Clean your nails with nail polish remover or alcohol pad
- Dry your hands and nails
- Push back cuticles
- Clip or file and shape natural nails
- Glue/ stick nails on one by one, pressing and holding for 15-30 seconds to ensure hold
- Avoid water for the next hour
HOW DO I REMOVE MY NAILS?
To remove nail glue, soak hands in warm water for at least 10-15 mins. Using a nail removal tool or a toothpick gently lift the edges. Do not forcibly pull off or rip your nails. If you have difficulty removing the nails, stop and try soaking your hands longer, before trying again.
DO NOT Wear nails that are lifting as it can become a source for bacteria to breed. Remove lifting nails, then clean and dry before reapplying nails.
DO NOT Wash your hands for at least a hour after applying press on nails
